Cart Transportation Service

SDS Special Programs and Services

Cart transportation services are available to students with permanent or temporary mobility limitations who provide appropriate disability documentation. 

Cart transportation is a scheduled service. Students must complete the process outlined below to request these services, and requests may take up to two business days to process.

Operating hours for cart transportation are Monday through Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (or until the last scheduled ride) and Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For students seeking on-call transportation services, the SDSU Safe Ride Program may be a suitable option. For more information and to access the SDSU Safe App, visit the SDSU Safe Ride Program webpage.

First Time Cart Users

If you are requesting cart transportation services, please read, complete, and submit the following required forms:  

Student

  1. Application for Services (PDF)
  2. Verification of Disability Form (PDF)
  3. Cart Service Request Form for Students (Classes/Recurring)
  4. or Cart Service Request Form for Students (Single-Event)

Faculty & Staff

  1. Cart Service Request Form for Faculty, Staff, Alumni, or Special Guest

Note: Cart Service Request Form requires requesters to be logged into their SDSU account.

Continuing Cart Services

If you have used cart services in the past and need to reestablish or change your cart transportation services, please complete and submit the appropriate Cart Service Request form:
